About Me

I obtained my undergraduate and Honours degree majoring in Psychology at the University of Pretoria. I also achieved my Master’s degree in Counselling and Sport Psychology at the University of Pretoria. I completed my internship at Stabilis Treatment Centre, a private in-patient rehabilitation centre treating addiction in adult and adolescent populations. I conducted individual, group, family and couples psychotherapy related to anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties and the various facets related to addiction

I initially started my private practice in Pretoria East, while lecturing at Pearson University. I have a focus on and passion for working with addiction, adjustment, emotional difficulties and identity development. These areas are addressed in individual, family or couples psychotherapy sessions, depending on the needs presented.

I currently have offices in Pretoria East and Midstream Mediclinic, offering individual psychotherapy, couples counselling, family therapy and career guidance. I have an interest in in-patient care and am associated with Evexia Psychiatric Day Clinic.
